Many of us who were honored to serve for so long
Under your leadershils feel that we would like to give
some Lasting recognition to your unstinting efforts which
resulted in the construction of our Headquarters building.
The consensus of a group of senior Agency officials
is that a ban relief bust of you placed in the main entrance
of the Headquarter u building would be a most appropriate
way to do this. This idea has been discussed with Mr.
Heinz Warneke, and to has enthusiastically agreed to
undertake the sculpturing.
I do hope that you will accept this honor which we
wish to bestow upon y.z and that we may impose upon
you to sit for Mr. Warneke a few times this fall.
