by the Soviet Bloc.
I. mr. lbenas A. Parrott has relayed the
substance of a question posed by Ir. George Allen,
Director, U. S. Information Agency, on the subject
of military training given individuals from non-
blot nations by the Soviet bloc. Appendix A gives
the number of military personnel from underdeveloped
countries of the free world trained'within the
Soviet bloc.
2. Appendix B lists the number of Soviet
bloc military technicians and advisers present
in underdeveloped countries of the free world
during the last half of 1958.
