provide a performance appraisal on who served STAT
as my special assistant for intern irs on loan
from CIA from October 1983 to May 1984. Since you have
known 0 for a number of years, I am directing this STAT
review to you to be passed on as appropriate.
briefed me on international developments in general STAT
and particularly on factors affecting the international
debt situation. His ability to pull together the various
resources of the Agency in support of my efforts in this
area was invaluable. I always found his comments useful
ano perceptive. He has a wide range of knowledge and good
balanced Judgment. He was certainly a substantial asset
to me in my work.
I might just add that I found the CIA's work on international
debt to be generally of a very high quality. They were
quick to respond with careful financial calculations. I
think it is an excellent analytic team that you have in this
area.
