I think it is a very good idea to go down and discuss it, particularly with General Gorman, who has the view that the dynamics of the situation in Salvador with the Army gaining confidence and improving their tactics, particularly in intelligence, and the guerrillas becoming somewhat more dispirited and anxious about their support, could call for a more optimistic outlook.
