The East European Division of this Office and the Office of Soviet and East European Affairs at the Department of Commerce have organized a conference on Eastern Europe's economic and financial outlook to be held at Airlie House in Warrenton, Virginia. Approximately 30 knowledgeable bankers, businessmen, academic specialists, and government officials have agreed to participate in the discussion. 2. The conference will begin with a reception and dinner on Wednesday, 21 March, and will last until early afternoon Friday, 23 March (see attached agenda).
