Dear Senator Wallop,
I am pleased that you will be giving the keynote
address on 29 August to our conference on Soviet deception
We intend to publish a classified volume
of conference proceedings, and I would like to include your
remarks in that volume.
The conference plans seem to be shaping up nicely. As
you will see from the enclosed agenda, we will be covering
the significant issues that bear on Soviet deception
efforts, and we have enlisted the help of many outstanding
experts in the field to examine the issues.
