I just had an opportunity to read
the proposed memo to the President from
Weinberger, Casey and Armstrong on
various NRP issues and Aldridge's
covering note. Reading between the
lines, I see a lot of bureaucratic
haggling here. I would appreciate
your bottom line view as to whether
or not this exercise resulted in
any progress or other tangible benefit.
