MEMORANDUM FOR: Executive Committee Members

SUBJECT: Federal Managers Financial Integrity Act
The Executive Committee met on 11 December to hear
Allen Elkins', Director of Finance, presentation on Agency
responsibilities under the Federal Managers Financial Integrity
Act. Following considerable discussion about the requirements of
the Act, it was agreed that the DDA will collate annual
statements of compliance by the directorates rather than the IG,
as previously agreed. It was further agreed that we will
incorporate into regulations our previous notice on the Act
published in late 1983. The regulations will incorporate
appropriate language to document the steps required for full
management compliance with the Act; the annual statements
