1. This year in its CIP Review "Operating Instructions
DIA has spelled out the responsibilities of the various indiridusi
and offices involved, including the members of the Review Group.
They are quoted below in full:

2. As we have considerably more lead time to study the AP
submissions prior to the time the Review Group meets, we should be
able to detect any situations that would be of particular concern t
the DCL As I go through the material (I received an 8-inch star
of Air Force data this morning) I will be able to keep you informzx,-d 0 i
the highlights of the Departments proposals for each unit and /or
activity. I keep me informed on any rna, zr
changes that will be proposed by DIA as a result of their in -zous
review which goes on from now until the end of May.
3. The extent to which w.~ can get a preview of the Corn.rt ui
picture in toto or for various functional groupings of activity will
depend on how quickly I get data from the CCP (Gerry iai arrangi--g
to got me the Subelerneiit data). the NRP and the CIA. In genera
there are more areas of functional likeness in the CCP and CIA
programs than in the other two.
