SUBJECT : Approval for Outside Lecture

1. I request approval to present a lecture on Indonesia to
a group of geography students at George Mason University on 2 April
1979. The lecture is part of a course titled "World Food and
Population in Geographic Perspective." The course is taught by
Professor Alice Andrews,
2. The lecture will discuss several aspects of Indonesia's
food problems including marketing, production, distribution, land
tenure, and government policy. Material for the lecture will be
drawn exclusively from unclassified sources and personal observations.
3. Agency affiliation will be acknowledged but only my personal
views will be expressed. Neither the Agency's interest in food/
population nor its role in policy support will be discussed. There
will be no remuneration for the lecture.
