Enclos is a copy of the winter 1975 issue of FAR Horizons,
which features the annual article on Government agency
obligations for foreign affairs research.
You may recall that in November 1974 we asked you to review
automated data which we had compiled from previously submitted
information for your agency's FY 1974 obligations. The
approved figures were used to prepare the 1-year funding
table on page 2 and the 5-year table on pages 4 and 5 of the
newsletter.
Thank you again for your assistance in supplying the needed
information. We hope that you'll find the FAR Horizons
article interesting.
On a personal note, and as I move to my new assignment as
the State Department Faculty Representative for the Foreign
Affairs Executive Seminar, I appreciate your cooperation
and that of your staff during the 6 years that I have
been in the Office of External Research. I may well be
looking to you for help and support in my new position
which I assume on May 26. The new deputy director
has not as yet been named.
