1. This requests your approval of and support for an
Intelligence Fair to be held in the Headquarters Building and
Auditorium for three days in October.
2.. Designed to complement and further the Agency's Quest for
Excellence, by contributing to the organization's esprit, the Fair
would combine static displays (such as OSS radio gear, World War II
and Korean War propaganda posters, OSO devices) arranged at the
entrance and throughout the first floor of Headquarters with
presentations (suitable. films) and lectures by Agency "greats."
The latter will be selected with a view to rehearsing for today's
officers both our successes and failures of the past. The
presentations in the Auditorium would be scheduled over three days;
the exhibits would be displayed for the month.
3. If you agree, we propose to involve the Offices of
Communications and Logistics, Public Affairs, and Medical Services,
and to solicit the assistance of the Fine Arts Commission.
