Krohn, Special Assistant for Intelligence, Office of Civil Aviation security, FAA, telephoned this office to report the introduction in the House of Representa- rives of HR 2892 which Krohn thought might be of concern to CIA air operations. This bill !as introduced on 4 May by Norman Mineta (Calif.) and would amend the FAA Act to limit the efinition of public aircraft. Also, leased aircraft would still be considered private aircraft, even though leased by a government organization. Mr Krohn suggested that appropriate Agency personnel may wish to give HR 2892 a close -eading.
