I enjoyed the other evening and feel that we are making
some progress in shaping up our ideas.
Either today or tomorrow, I expect to send to you a
collection of tentative summaries of various kinds which
should be helpful.
Sprague expects to finish up in State by the end of the
month, so that about August 1 he will be ready to go over
to the Navy. I hope that you can arrange to come down
here before then for a preliminary meeting with Inglis.
If you cannot come, do you want me to go ahead and make
the necessary arrangements? I know Inglis and do not
think there would be too much difficulty, although I am
sure it would be preferable if you could do this your-
self.
