Subject: Dulles Report
1. For your information -- at today's IAC Meeting, called
to discuss NSC 50, and especially the circular memo thereon of July7
from the Executive Secretary of the NSC to all IAC Members, re Coordina-
tion of Intelligence Activities, Particular Intelligence Questions
Requiring Coordination and Attention, and National Intelligence Estimates,
there was no discussion at a1111
2. Mr. Armstrong, the State Department Member, said that
he was submitting five subjects with recommendations derived from
a study of NSC 50. These problems would be:
a. Production of National Intelligence Estimates
b. Coordination of Intelligence
c. Research and Reports
d, Political Summaries -
e. Guidance from the Departments to CIA.
3. Presumably, we shall receive these five papers before
too long, at which time they will be circulated.
