SUBJECT : Joint Study Group Recommendations
1. The Security Committee, USE, hae taken the following
action to date on the Implementation of Joint Study Group Recxenda-
tione 1A, 14, 18 and 42.

The Security Committee established an ad hoc working group
chaired by NSA with representatives from CIA, Army, and Air Force.
The working group is studying compartmentation of broad categories
of intelligence and has reviewed related activities of the WATCH
and COMOR Committees of the USIB. The working group is in process
of preparing its report to the Security Committee and eventually
referral to the USIB.
