Mr. Kearney contacted Mr. s i tohell and informed
me this date that Volume l only of the Eberstadt Report
will be released along with the Commission's Report n o.f.
Mineo, apbed (not printed) copies of Volumes 2, 3, and 4
of the bers dt Report will be furnished the appropriate
Congressional 9 A.itteees at the same time that the
printed matter Is forwarded. These three Volumes will
retain the,ola.ssificetion "Confidential" and a rrangerrents
will be made whereby Admiral F illenkoetter personally
advises the Committee Chair man as to why this material
in not being released to the public and why it should be
retained in a classified status by the Congressional
Cornmitteea.
