As I believe you know, this Commission expects to send
a staff member to Europe in the near future to review some of
your installations there.
It would be much appreciated if the Central Intelligence
Agency would assist this Commission in providing our repre-
sentative with whatever support may be necessary to accomplish
the mission. Any direct expenditures made on our behalf will
be reimbursed by us.
Colonel Herman 0. Lane is to be our representative on
this trip and he will contact your Liaison Officer with the
Intelligence Activities Task Force in order to develop further
details.
