MR. DULLES:
GENERA.L CHRISTIANSEN telephoned at 10:30 A. M. to say that
he had just had a call from General Clark who said that he was going
to be tied up and could not make the April 5th briefing. General
Christiansen stated that he did not know when they would want the
briefing now, but that it would be "considerably later. " He wanted
you to know this before you got away today. Mr. Kirkpatrick has been
notified.
Re your lunch with MRS. LUCE on April 5th - what do you wish to
do about this now?
