1. Before addressing the specific recommendations contained in your
audit rep 7ld like to take the opportunity to express our apprec-
iation to for the assistance he provided us during his audit of STAT
OIA. He continually displayed a spirit of cooperation and provided our
Administrative Staff with valuable advice on various financial matters
and specific solutions as to how we can do a better job of controlling a
large inventory of accountable property.
2. The first recommendation in the audit report addresses the re-
quirement for recording all property transactions and maintaining the
required documentation.
