1. A meeting was held on 30 November 1977 with ren-
resentatives of the Office of Data Processing (ODP) to
discuss the facilities impact of prepa.rinc the 3047 comrr)'Lrter
center to accept equipment to satisfy the interim CAMS re-
quirement. Attendees were:

2. In June 1978, the IBM 158-1 will be moved from CC03
to GC47. In July 1978, the IPRM 65-1. will be removed f_ron
CC47. Only after the 65-1 is removed can thr new CAMS ecuip-
ment be installed. At this time OBIT' does not know whetlier
the CAMS equipment will be AMMDATHL or VIM. Both utiliza onn TTz
power but only the AMDAHL Is water cooled. The 401) FTz com-
puter equipment will be prime and the ITEM 1S8-i will be the
backup processor.
3. Earlier ODP planning documents identified Mere? 1978
as the date which interim CAMS must be in (C47. ()TIT' now has
a June-July 1978 target date. Work is currently in procrnss
by the Headquarters Engineering Branch to upgrade two air

handlers and to add one additional air hanrll_er in GC47. Once
it is known what type of computer equirment is hei.ng installed,
chilled water and power requirements will be firmed up.
