In a telephone call to Mr. Terman, GSA, this date to get status of our request to GSA to arrange for surveys at these facilities, Mr. Terman stated that Mr. Schick of his office had been in touch with Mr. George Williams, EPA Office of Water Programs, Philadelphia, Penn., this week. Mr. Williams had (according to Mr. Terman) told Mr. Schick that he would get in touch with me the next time he is in town regarding his schedule for making the surveys. Although GSA has been told that the are to arrange for these surveys on our behalf (at suggestion) they have acceded to Mr. Williams' preference and suggestion that he contact us directly about his schedule for these surveys. 2. I have been calling Mr. Terman periodically re- garding the proposed schedule of Mr. Williams. 3. I will continue to keep Mr. Terman's office involved when Mr. Williams calls me. Langley, Virginia, construction contract GS-033-167581, will have negligible adverse effects on the environment. You as "lead agency," however, must determine compliance with Section 5 (b) of the Guidelines of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (Public Law 91-190) as it applies to this project.
