The study showed tha in the early stages of tempering of iron-cobalt at 400-500'C,, tho atojps of cobalt are redistributed, resulting in an increase, in the number of cobalt atoms in the immediate neighborhood of the iron; the molybdenum and tungsten atoms move away from the iron atons in the solid solution. In later stages of tempering, the phases Fe Mo and Fe W are formed.
