TEXT: A study has been made of new types of chromium aluminum Wgne.SiUli
s1licate catalysts (Cat) in the voj~mpri.,7atinr of ethylene to polyethylene,
and of -the activity of' Cat as depundent upon tile inet'hod o,f'their int,rodac-
tir,n into the chromium oxide. The activity of Cat'hus been ahoven edsen~
tially to depend on the method of synthesis, the chemical compositi(in of
the carriers having no appreciable effect upon .9ticb,aotivity. The optimum
