ABSTRACT: For many years the loading and. unloading of coal,
grain and potatoes has been carried out manually,.
Quite recently the alcohol production plants of the
Chelyabinsk sovnarkhoz, and particularly the 114itro-
fanovskiy-spirtozavod (Mitrofanovka Alcohol Produc-
tion Plant), have mechanized all loading and unloading
operations by using tractor shovels, dump'trucks, in-
clined and horizontal belt conveyers, bucket and hy-
draulic conveyers, and hoisting devices. The' alcohol
produced was transported to the railroad in barrels,
Card 112 but now tank trucks filled by gravity loading are

being used. The unloadinG into railroad tarLk cars is
carried out by electric centrifugal pumps. In spite
of the introdticed mcchanizptiorl the level
enterprises of - the
Chelyabinsk sovnarkhoz is only 60%. A considerable
number of worker5 is still employed with loading and
unloading_oRcrati-ons.- Tha-author-al so-mentions-the-
-P-0-tropavlovskiy spirtozavod (Petropavlo-vskij Alcohol
Producing Plant), the Tyubukskiy zavod (Tyubuk Plant)
and the Upravleniye pishchevoy promyshlennd~sti sov-
narkhoza (Administration of the Sovnarkhoz Food In-

Abstract, juthor's English summary modified_7: An accurate evalua-
tion method of the mitotic index and the respective phases of
mitosis in bone mar-ow ia mice is described. The method is
based on hypotonizing marrow cells, In the extended nucleus chrom-
osomes can be seen, thus making it possible to evaluate each par-
tioular mitotic phase. Accuratle evaluation and deta'i'.led clasifica-
tion of the pliases can be made. It is.however, impossible to
identify the bone mar-now cells. The method is suitable for cyto-

Abstract : In the first days of Aminazine therapy seven out of 877
psychiatric patients had convulsions without loss of con-
sciousness; the convulsions were accompanied by vegetative
disturbances and were mostly of a tonic nature. When the
dose was decreased, the convulsions ceased. Cranium trau-
mas, severe Infections, as well as endocrino-vegetative
insufficiency, were sometimes the factors predisposing to
the development of the convulsions. It is recommended
that the first two weeks of therapy be spent in a hospital
environment.
