ChUM , PERIODICAL: DoklAdy Akademii nauk SSSR, 19599 Vol 126, Nr 6, PP 1334 - 1337 (USSR) ABSTRACT: The Devonian sediments of the district mentioned in the title are described by several research workers (Refs 1-8). After 1947 geological surveys and the thematic investigations were made by R. T. Gratsianova, N. S. Korzhnev, L. I. Kravtsovaq A. I. Rodygin, G. A. Chernov, I. I. Belostotskiy, A. B. Dergunov, S. P. Krasiltnikovp S. R. Mayzelis, I. F. Pozharokiy, M. A. Chernomorskiy, B. A. Yakovlev and others. On the basis of the investigation carried out till 1955 a unified stratigraphic scheme_was assumed by mezhvedomstvennoye soveshchaniye po Sibiri (inter ressort-conference for Siberia). In this scheme the De- vonian complex of the district mentioned in the title was di- vided into 2-3 suites (thickness 12 km). The author suggested Card 1A the following stratigraphic scheme on the basis of his own in- Devonian Deposits of the South-eastern Altai Highland SOV120-126-6-52167 (DraiRage.Area of the Upper Course of the Chion River) vestigations and those of L. In this method the sedimentation cy- cles were takeninto account which were expressed in the al- teimation of the marine and continental masses. The S a y - y u g e m a k a y a a e r i a a (D 2e g-r) was selected by I. Beloototakiy in 1956. Referring to his own systematization of modern paleomagnetio data, the author presents numerical values of the coordinates of the paleomagnetic poles during the Carboniferous, Permian, Triasiic, and Jurassic periods. He con- cludes that the position of the poles in the periods indicated was similar to their present position. The impact loading was by means of the explosive devices used by L. V. AlItshuler et al. (FTT v. 5P 279Y 1963)- A simple measuring circuit was used (Fig. 1). The parameters of the shoek wave in the single crystal were calculated from the known state of the screen. A measuring line jnade of RM-0-3/10 L cable of 200 ohm wave resistance and an OK-21 oscilloscope were used in the experiments. The crystal thic ~kness (10).fluctuated between 0.15 and 0.19 cm. The results of the experiments In the form of a plot of the initial current jump density (1) against the compre3sion behind the front of the shock wave (0) are shown in Fig. 2. Each point on the curve was obtained in a separate experiment. On this occasion the operators are considered to be elementary objects to which are ascribed a certain ability of changing the values of the logical variables is ascribed. There follow 11 definitions and the following conceptions are defined: Logical condition2 elementary expression, schemes of the programp the value of such a program for a certain sequence, empty periodo distribution of displacements, equality in the Case of distribution of displacements, partial equality in the case of distribution of displacements, steady burdening of a program scheme. CARD 1/2 Z,_L4~~ PA - 2910 On the equality of program schemes and their transformations, The principal result of the paper under consideration is the following theorem: If the program schemes a (p1`-'pk) and C& (1)12 ... Finally, a system of axioms and laws of derivation is written down. (No Illustration) ASSOCIATION: MathematioalInstitute "V.A. STEKOLOV11 of the Academy of Science of the USSR. PRESENTED BY: M.7. The operators and the logical functions or conditions are arranged in a certain manner and .form what is known as the logic programme set. The represen- tation of the logic programme sets is done by adopting the following symbolics. A,, A2- denote the operators,(or operations), while P11 P21 P3" . are independent logical variables. It can easily be seen that for a given shift distribution the same order sequence of the operators can be represented by various sets. These can be ref, erred to as the Card 2/4 equivalent sets (for a given shift distribution). The logic -gg N; r~ 06521 SOV/141-58-1-11/14 Transformations of the Logical Programme Sets conditions and the operators can be referred to as the ele- mentary expressions, A logic condition is defined as a logic algebraic function, having a left-hand semi-bracket with a subscript to the right of the function. The equivalents can be strictly defined as follows. Two sets (plq ... 9 pkj AL9 ... It is possible to carry out vari3us trans- formations on a set without changing its logic contents. The rules of the transformations are indicated by the equations on p 116. The rules are employed to carry out the transfor- mations on to practical examples. From the analysis, it is found that the so-called identity transformations, that is, the transformations which convert a set into an equivalent set (for a given shift distribution) can lead to the simpli- fication of a set, in particular, the reduction in the number 06521 SOV/141-58-1-11/14 Transformations of the Logical Programme Sets of~Mlogical conditions. Doklady, v. ~479 no- 49 1962t 063-a66 TEXT: The effect of the heteroatom on the*otability of furan, pyrrolet thiophene and pyridine was studied. The e.p.r. spectra mere taken at -170 to -1600C, and the formation and accumulation of radicals were recorded with 'an accuracy of 30%. The initial r4'dical yield increased -in the series thiophene4 pyrrole
