The object of the study were bauxites containing .-(in fl: 6.31 SiOz and 21.6o Fe,O-,,, and having a modulus of 8.4. optimal conditions of firing: maintaining at 370r for 3 hours. Advantages of this method are simplification of the process of red mud sep- aration and also a high degree of utilization of Fen.03 and Al-0- contained in the bauxite.
