From the book: VOPROSY NEIRO-GUMORALNOI RMULYATSII Fff=GICHESKIKH I PATOLO- GICHESKIKII PROTSESSOV ZlfENSKOI POLOVOI SFERY 1956 (54-65) EEG examinations were trade on 45 women, of whom 5 had a normal and 40 a disturbed menstrual cycle. the latter manifested as disorders of the! nervous and vascular systems (headaches, hot flushes. increased excitability, easy tiredness, poor steep, etc. ). It was found that In the majority of patients suffering from . II amenorrhoea, hypo-oligoinenorrtioea, and an early climacteri-im, there were EEG changes in the form of a disturbed a-rhythm, the appearance of frequent and In- creased P-waves, and changes in the reaction to external stimuli. These changes indicate an Imbalance betiveen the stimulatory and inhibitory proces3es of the cere- bral cortex. After implantation of ovarian tissue In these patients, there appeared in the EEG well pronounced a-waves and a normal reaction to external stimuli. At the same time a normalization of menstruation and an Improvement-in the pa- flentV general condition were noted. 1(s) Name: UTOCH.NIKOVA, Nina Sergeyevna Disaertation: Treatment of certain disturbancea of the ovarian End monatrual (,,ycls,, of women by grafting of ovarlim tissue Dcgree : rce Mwi Sci Affiliation: 51 ot Indicateg Pefense Date, Place: 28 Nov 55, Council of Military Med Order of Lenin Acad Imeni Kirov Certification Date: 20 Apr 57 Source: Tmvo 14/57 Distri 4E2c(;))/4E3b Coacervation. It shoi d be used only when there are other indications present. The effect of PEG may be not only activation, but inhibition as well. Changes caused in EEG sometimes last longer than 21L hours. When after the PID the EEG recording shows abnormal changes within 3 hours after the Pff-r was applied, a second EEG should be made 24 hours later. PEG and EEr, should be considered two independent diagnostic " methods, Changes induced by PM activa- tion are discussed. 1 Figure, 1 Western, 4 Czech references. 1/1 KUZXBNTY, V.S.; nKLISTOV, I.K.; UTIIOBIII, A.I. ~- - w Remarks about T.A.Rumiantseva's articlea on the Rukha denosit. This survey showed that at the Tortonian (Upper Yiocene) stage a shallow sea covered the plateau parts of the Ukraine, and the expansion of zhe red algae corresponded to definite stages of the development of these sea basins. After I hour of annealing and ultrasonic oscillations, the microstructures~ indicated, oa the average, larger carbide parti-cle aizoo with groater distances between each carbide particle than in the control specimens. t, Zraphical blot u of the numbel- of carbide particles versus anneUling tiRIG shows that the effect of Cord 1/2 ACCESSION tR: A-4034064 ultrasonic Oscillations first increase3j, reaches a iTwxiraufli, and subsequently _.-decreasos. ?or a given- test duration tin, a, the fiarticle distribution falls sharply froin the end of the specimon until it reachas a constant value at a dis- tance of 40 amt. These results uhow that ultrasomic oscillations promote coagula- tion of carbides in U12 steols. Orig. art. has: 4 figures. W1011t restestvenno-nauebW institut pri Permskom gosuniversitste In. A. M.
