show a different ultraviolet abnorpoon max. T. and K.
think that there exists a bigger difference between the thio-
-cRrbonyl group and the catbonyl group than between CS:,
COS,andCOI. The dissimilarity of the ultraviolet absorp-
tion spectra of org. acids and their esters with C-0 and
C--S groups Is cited and curves are shown. 27references.
