TITLE: Determination of magnesiul~ln coal by atomic absorption spe6trophotowatry
SOURM, Chemicke listy, no. 3, 1966, 334-340
TOPIC AGS: spectrophotometry, magnesium, coal
ABSTRACT: The method allows the determination of Mg in coal in the presence of
elements that would normally interfere with the determination. Even in the presence
of Al it is Pons Is to make the determination, without, separation; 8-hydroxyquinolizwl
is used to elimin e the-influence of the interfering metals. The use of organic
solvents, namely acetone, increases the sensitivity-of the method; 0*05,micrograms
of Mg in 1 ml can be determined. The method is fast and accurate* Orige art. has:

Orig Pub : Acta, Physiol. Acad. sci. hung., 1956, No 2-4, 349-356.
Abstract : Nicotine and tetraethylammonlum bromide caused a positive
inotropic effect on an isolated papillary muscle of the
feline heart while it was being stimulated by electric
current. This action is monophasic and can be weakened
or obliterated by gangliolytic and synpatholytic agents.
The substances which depress the function and dynamics
of the zqrocardium) alcohol in particular, also prevent
the effects of nicotine and TM. The author believes
that nicotine and TMA exert their action unon the cardiac
cle by mobilizing sympathin. A glossary of 22 entries.

of P,P-bis-(4-aminophenyl)-propionitrile (TK 11) inhibit the toxicity of nico-

pentatrazole or tremorine, and has no sedative action. In large doses it
causes central nervous excitation, interferes with motor coordination and
causes muscular weakness. 30 References, of which 5 Hungarian, I East German,

TITLE: Data on modifying the temperature coefficient of initiall per-
meability of MgL114n ferrites
PERIODICAL: Magyar Hiradastechnika, no. 5, 1961, 202-204
TEXT: The article deals with the temperature coefficient for initial permea-
bility of MgAlMn ferrites, explaining, on the basis of several experiments, that
this coefficient is affected by the heat treatment which causes internal strain.
The Curie temperature, which is dependant on the chemical composition of the
ferromagnetic material and not on the crystal structure, is more difficult to
determine in forrites than in metals. In general, the temperature coefficient
is determined by structural factors affecting also the permeability. This has
been proved by experiments in which MgfilMn ferrites were produced by conven-
tional production technology; the initial permeability grew with the rise of
temperature to 1.35-7.15-titnes its value at 200C. Table 1 shows, as a function
of the final heating temperature, the relation between the initial permeability

Data on modifying the temperature ....... D018/D105
and the Curie temperature of two ferrite groups with different chemical com-
positions prepared at a heating rate of 150OC/hour and a cooling time of 10 hours.
Table 2 shows a heat treatment with a different heating rate, while Table 3 gives
the relation between the specific gravity, permeability and Curie temperature.
in analyzing the temperature coefficient of permeability of ferrites with identi-
cal. chemical composition but produced by different production technology, the
authors point out the importance of the anisotropy coefficient and the possibi-
lities and obstacles of reducing the internal strain caused by heat treatment.
Fig. 1 shows the temperature curves for permeability of four samples listed in
Table 3. Experiments with samples of nearly identical density, initial per-
meability and Curie temperature revealed that by decelerating the heat treatment,
the temperature coefficient decreases, i.e. the effect of the heating is greater
than that of the cooling and that the temperature is affected more by the intro-
duction of oxygen than nitrogen. The results of these experiments on several
ferrites of two different chemical compositions are shown in Table 4 and 5 and
in Fig. 2 and 3. There are 3 figures and 5 tables.

The method is fast and accurate* Orige art. has:

Abstract : Nicotine and tetraethylammonlum bromide caused a positive
inotropic effect on an isolated papillary muscle of the
feline heart while it was being stimulated by electric
current. This action is monophasic and can be weakened
or obliterated by gangliolytic and synpatholytic agents.
The substances which depress the function and dynamics
of the zqrocardium) alcohol in particular, also prevent
the effects of nicotine and TM. The author believes
that nicotine and TMA exert their action unon the cardiac
cle by mobilizing sympathin. A glossary of 22 entries.

of P,P-bis-(4-aminophenyl)-propionitrile (TK 11) inhibit the toxicity of nico-

causes central nervous excitation, interferes with motor coordination and
causes muscular weakness.

Card 1/b
