TEXT: The present closing part of the work, as the preceding part II
( 4). deals .,fith nonlinear Chebyshev approximation problems which car, be
adapted to the reneralized Chebyshev interpolation method developed by
El. J. Re"m6s. The mathematical elaborations indicated in ~ 4 to approximate
a re;.,liza-tion of the Chebyshev interpolation steps were somewhat compli-
cated, since they required, as preliminary phases, an explicit setting up
of certain lineurized systems of (n + 1) incomp~_tible equations, and also
a determination of the coefficients {C.1' of the linear dependence:

"Extensive Resection of the Small Intestines."
0
Budapest, Magmr Sebeszet, Vol X"VI, No 3, June 1963, pages 167-170.
Abstract: [Authors' German summary] The authors discuss the opinion
of several surgeons concerning subtotal resection of the small -in-
testines. A case of his own IS described where subtotal resection
was necessary because of fibrosarcoma, and only a 10 cm long section
of the small intestine was retained. The fibrosarcoma caused no dis-
tant metastases, only several local recidives developed. In the opinion
of the authors, subtotal resection of the small intestine should
only be carried out in cases of extreme need. 14 Western, 5 Eastern

TITLE: Using a Propane-Butane Liquefied Mixture for Metal Cuttir4z
PERIODICAL: Narodnoye khozyaystvo Sov. Latvii, 1957, No. 1, pp. 49-50
TEXT: It is said that a propane-butane mixture is five times cheaper than
acetylene, while its consumption for metal cutting is two times lower. Using
a propane-butane mixture will cut the costs of servicing acetylene generators.
It is recommended to supply the mixture in tanks installed on "3UC -150"
(ZIS-150) and "M~-51" (GAZ-51) trucks to large power plant construction sites,
where it is fed from tanks to the consumers through a distribution system.
Tanks used for transporting the mixture must have cylindrical bottoms.
