Abstract : The distribution of trypanosoma and trypano-
plasma in fish in some Serbian ponds was deter-
mined by the study 6f blood smears prepared in
November-December 1956. No exact determination
of trypanosoma and trypanoplasma was carried out.
Trypanoloma was found mainly in young carp (32%
of the fish up to one year of age were infected;
1% in ages of 1 to 2 years old; 4% in ages of
4 and more years). Trypanosoma was also found

Abstract: The authors present a statistical review of clinical
material establishing the most frequent etiological factors
causing Bell's Paralysis. A total of '138 patients were examined,
107 children and 31 adults. The disease appeared equally in
both sexes on the left and right sides. It was found that ex-
posure to cold played a very small role. The cases are clearly
divided into two groups: the larger one, where no etiological
factors could be deterninedp and the other, where virus infec-
tiona could be justifiably assumed. Future investigations will
result in the significant decrease of the idiopathic group of
