Report of a case. The fistula in the parotid substance was curetted and tunneled
through. partly by blunt, partly by sharp dissection. A drainage tube of 4 nim.
calibre was introduced through the mouth and its end sutured to the substance of
the gland at the site of exit of the fistiala. Primary closure of the operative wout.-I
of the parotid gland was carried out in a few stages. Healing of the wound was
uninterrurAed and was complete in 6 weeks. Author

the southeastern part of Asia, China and
Japan, Forsythia suspenea has been culti-
vated In Europe from the year of 1833, into
which It had bean Imported (Holland) from
Japan. In Chinat It grows in a wild state.
In the pre-spring early frosts of 1956v
the most resistant proved to be Fe europaea.

AB51'RACT: The studies were made in the temperiture interval 100-4420K. The setup
for the experiments is shown in Fig. 1 on the Enclosures. Results of measure;--~,;-ts
in the C012Z and C0017 directions are almost identical, but the thermal conducLiv-
ity along &010 is s-ome-what less. Results of measurements on two series of samples
are shown in Fig. 2 on the Enclosures. It is concluded that at temperatures above
240K a substantial role is played by heat transfer through electromagnetic
radiation and diffusion of electron-hole paixs. "In conclusion, the authors
