After a review of the principles which are at the root of the study of the plasma
clearance coefficients with all their discardances as regards the interpretation of
the results, the bases of a mathematical analysis of these coefficients are bet out.
The nephrogoruon or angle of renal function represents the kinetic stud. J the
renal function. The urinary output of the substances is considered as a ~Crmanent
function of the plasma concentration of these suhstances. This function assumes
various forms and aspects. in relation to a system of rectangular axes. The place
and dimensions of these tracings are fixed by certain coefficients established in the
course of the test. This synoptic picture of all the tracings represents a snapshot

TEXT: The new Interspace triangulation of Poland, developed in 1947 - . i, .
1959, represents a continuous network of triangles with 6 - 8-km long sides
in which angles were directly measured and adjusted. In adjustment, the net-
work was divided into groups, 70 - 100 points In e 'ach, wh1th were first ad-
justed Independently and then inserted into the astronomic-geodetic network.
For coordinates obtained from adjacent groups, average values were derived.'
Hausbrandt's symbols were successfully utilized. The adopted adjustment meth-
od calls for less means and time than the others and yields quite satisfactory
results (divergences between the adjusted and measured elde lengths do not
exceed ItIO0,000). The rms; errors of a network angle (after insertion into the
astronomic-geodetic network) amounted to 2.9 - 3.500. Maximum angle corrections

Abstract ; Description of the results of studies'of the phenomena of
plastic deformtion (PD) in articles made of ord-tnary and
of high-strength gypsum. Physicoomechanical tests were
carried out and microscopic, electron microscopy and x-ray
investigations monducted of specimens of gypsum and gypsiLm-
concrete. The conclusion is reached that articles made
from ordinary gypsum do not withstand any stresses beyond
their own weight while articles of high-strength gypsur.

Abstract Observations on the manufastation. and developmentof the perithecia.
were made at Bucharest Agricultural Institute on leaves collected
in October and November. leaves in wire nets were left in the
natural conditions of the orchard. Fran the 15 of December every
15 days one looked for the appearance of perithecia. An investi-
gation of the processes of formation and ripening of capsules and
Card ]~/3 ascospores began and were repeated every 3 days afterwards, when

the first light capsules with uncolored ascospores appeared.
Observations for the spread of the ascospores began at the beginning
of March and lasted to the end of May. Five years of research
indicate that E. inaequalis may develop perithecia. in the leaves,
if the average temperature during 1-2 months has reached -30, the
mean minimum -60 and the mean maximum 50. Perithecia which form
in large numbers an falling leaves frcm the end of August to the
end of October are the chief source of spring infection. The
ripening process of the ascospores depends on the temperature.
Ripening requires an average maximum temperature for I month of
from 1 to 120, an average minimum of -3 or -50. The lower the
temperature within the limits indicated, the longer the ripening
process takes.
Precipitation shows a positive effect on this process, In the
orchard the process of ripening last& from 45 to 50 days.
Precipitation and wind play a substantial role in the dissemination
of the ascospores. To determine the time for spraying, it is

essential to consider the weather conditions, investigate the
state of the perithecia in the orchard and, aside form this,
to plant additional spores in the laboratory as a control.

20mm in thickness, and 600 kr/0 density. The
