Abstract : This is a reDort on a case of leucosarcow. ill a 15-year
old girl, chiwacterimq. by fever, Eu-iienorrhea, a papular
erythemtous rash (leukemids-) on Uie face, neck and
shoulders, Increased cervical, subuvixillary tuid inguinal
nodes, hepatosplenomegaly, anemia, pronounced leukopenia
and elevated F-qR. A histologic study of the mar=ry gland
timor and of an enlarged lyrVh node! in the axilla revealed
a round cell sarcoma. A bone mrrcv specimen showed predo-
minance of hemocytoblztsts (the author uses the term Ipvpho-
blast), paianyeloblasts and microm;yeloblasts. During the

ABSTRACT: The pans studied -dere those stipulated in WHO Guide to llydri'me-
teorological Practices, pro.mulgated in 1964. An equation war, derived to
characterize the evaporation loss from these pans under various meteoro-
logical conditions and, conversely, to calculate the meteorological fac-
tors from evaporation aaia. Data on findings gathered during the period
between 1901 and 1950 in Hungary were presented and discussed. An analy-
sis was made to establish climatological variati.ons during the seasons
