TITLEs Dehydrogenation of toopentans into isoomylonse an an alumochromopotoosium catalyst PERIODICALs NoftekhLmiya, v.2, no.4, 1962. 448-456 TEXTs A systematic study of the process of dehydrogenation of isopontano into isoamylen*s under conditIons of a stationary and moving layer of granulated catalyst K-544 was carried out on experimental installations of Gros NII. Tests on the stationary layer were carried out on a laboratory and an enlarged installation. The reactors with & stationary Layer of the catalyst were of the capael'y of 40 and.500 cm3 respectively. Toot* in the tuovins layer war* made in a concurrent continuous. pilot plant with a reactor (4 11tres) and a regenerator (4.7 litr*~)6 Tjh* volume of the catalyst - 35 litres, throughput - about 100 litres/day, the velocity of circulation of the catalyst up to 16 litroo/hour. The analyses of the reaction products were made by chromatographic and other chemical methods. The Influosoo of the temperature, volume velocity and rate at reGitOUIGUOR Of card I/a S/204/62/002/004/003/019 Dvhydrogonation ofloopontane ... 9071/9433 the catalyst on the main parameters of the process as well as the behaviour of the catalyst were studied. It was found that the catalyst had a good and stable activity. During an operating period of 1100 hours in a stationary layer and 400 hours In a moving layer its activity rouisined practically unchanged. Under the optimum condition of the process (temperature - 340*C and volume velocity - I hour-1) the yield of Isoomylones amounted to 30 to 31 wt.% calculated on row material (98.6% of Loopentano) with a total yield of unsaturated hydrocarbons C5 of 34 to 38 wt.%. The catalyst has a satisfactory strength and good regeneration characteristic@. The velocity of burning *,At of coke from the most Inaccessible layer* of catalyst K-544 amounted to 20 lLtres/lLtr~ of catalyst per hour, In comparison witb theik for aluminooLlicato catalyst* of 13 to 16 11tres/litre of catalyst per hour.
