ABSTRACT: A male tick or the rare species Hasmaphyealis ornithophila
Hoog. and Kohlot 1959 was discovered on a trush (rurdwe damma) in the
Kozullskiy rayon of the Krasnoyarskly kray In June of 1959. Haema-
phyeatis ornithophita belongs to a group of ticks paranitizing birds
and found In South and Southeast Asia, Africa and Madagascar. The
Turdue dauna thrush in fairly widespread in Siberia, and winters in
Southern China# Assam, Indo-China, ate., until May. In this case, par-
asitization occurred at tho wintering place between Pebruary and May.

Abatracto The Scientific Research Laboratory of the Kiev Institute of
Engineers of Civil Aviation uned MUD-typo devices, aerially manufactured
by the Kontrol'pribor Plant, for contactlona determination of residual
