Abstrnct . Higher aervous activity vas studied by s method ot condi-

rol levels in typographera with 10 to 30 years of experi-
ence and in vorkers hoepitalized beceuse of lead poisoning
who had been vorking `+ith lead for 1 to 10 yesra. A nua-

gusbility, especially on the part of the aecond aimaling
system, veekened inhibitory processes in the first aad se-
