As the station is located within the town proper, there are sm~all field disturbances caused by stray currents, Their amplitude is small, ho,.-iever, because there are no industrial facilitias in the neighborhood. No groomagretic anomalies were observed in the vicinity of the station. The resistivity of the surface layer of the station reaches 20 am, and its geological structure is that of the Minor Danube Basin, Discussing the external eqvipment of the station, the author states that the electrodas are located crosswise, the distance between the NS- and EW-electrodes being in both casr-D 100 m. They consist of 2 mm thick lead plates with a surface of 1.1 m2, are located 1-7 m below the ground Card 1/71 2t,598 Z/023/61/000/004/003/003 ~,'lcctrotelluric ftation in Hurbanovo D006/D102 level and coated Nvith a 10-cm layer of marl. The station is equipped with D'Urz Fnivanometers (producer% METRO, BLAINSKO) with an internal resistance of a 0 01,- an external critical roBistance of 250OS? i the sensitivity on -I L 1-00 A , the ?'-,S component being 7-5 x 10-9 A/mm/m and on the E-71 component 8 x 10-9 A/mm/m. Every hour the electrode circuit is dicconnected for I min by a Lime relay in order to provide for a time mark on the r,~,cordin(,: film, which moves 'at a spe'~I of 90 mm/hour, A daily chi,~ck i.,i rocorded by the constant- componcnt compensator. The resictance of the electrode-wirinp, insulation is measured every week; that of the N- and E-elecLrodes reached 9 - 25,2, that of the S-r-lectrode 18 - 55,Rj and that of the "af-electrode 9 - 18S~. Max i - num resistance occurred during Decombpr, minimum resiStance durinF the. sum- mer seaoon. Hetilap, Vol 1C4, 140 32, 11 Aug 1963, pages 1497-1500. Abstract: 'Authors' Hungarian summary modified] Food poisoning caused by Salmonella bareilly was spread by products of a pastry shop causinZ 51 a- cute and several latent cases of infection. Incubation time was 4-27 hour5 and the disease lasted 4_14 days. Six patients needed hospitalization, but no fatality occuavd. Salmonella was cultured from pastry samples and from the feces of those who consuined the food. The number of positive tests de- creased gradually but were present among former patients as much as 200 days later. The clinical symptoms responded well to treatment while the bacterium excretion did not. The mass food poisoning has turned into an eoidemic but the host could not be found. Attention is called to the role of food in the spreading of Salmonella infections, which are only slightly pathogenic for humans. 14 Western, 6 Hungarian references. 1/1 KRUcZoVICZ, Pal,, dr.; KOVATS, Sara, dr.; JVaRM, Magda, dr. The iteration method usually applied is laborious and.inaccurate. By using curvilinear coordinates it was possible to reduce the flow equation to the solu- tion of a system of two linear equations with two unknowns. The thermal conductivity of the gas Is neglected, and the total pressure is assumed to be constant. The differential equation considered corresponds to a variational problem, and Ritz's method Is used to obtain a numerical solution. The method describes the flow and the temperature distribution in the gas more completely and gives more accurate results than other existing methods. Orig. art. has: 4 figures. ASSOCIATION!
