ABSTRACT- The present work was done to determine the influence of the chemical
comDosition of the adsorbents on the composition of the radiolytic products of
cyc'lohexane. Synthetic zeolites (commercial CoX, 11IX, NaCaX and NaNiX) were used
to adsorb cyclohe:,-..ne, which was irradiated with Co gamma-radiation. The
radiolytic products ware analyzed by gas d1iromatography. The results indicate that
the presence of two cations in the zeolite, one of them of variable valence, is
important for the formation of an adsorbent actively affecting radiolysis. 01-18.
