TITLE: Crystikl structure of 1.5-dibroiiii%A-ithit-,3iqui.iio.no PERIODICAL: Kristallografiya, v.8, no.2, 1963, 1514-.,oo .TEXT: Single crystals of 1.5-dibromairti;ltra4lictinoi.,Ae ~(C7 H30)2 Br 2] in the form of long Idark-yellow in-cedles were obtained by slow evaporation from a solution in pyridine and also by sublimation in a normal atmosphere. The parijimeters of the monoclinic unit cell were found by X-ray motusuroments to be: a = 11.24 1 0.02, b = 13 43 t 0.03, C = -3 4 93 J; 0. 01 X, P = 910231 121, V = 59A V. The density was calculated' from 'the data to be 2.03 g/cm3 which is close to the value obtained from pyknometric measurements (2.02). The numbior of molecules in the unit cell is two, and the space group Is C5 - P2,/a. The deviition of the bromin4i and *xygen atoms ort 2h different sides of the plane of the anthraquinc);ji(i ring was found to be 0-158 and-0.130 respectively. The bond lengths of Card 1/2 Crystal structure of S/070/63/ 008/00:2/002/01.7 C Br and C - 0 were 2.00 and 1-311 reupect -,ively,, There are 5 figures and 3 tables.
