ABSTRACT: This Author's Certificate introduces: 1. A device for checking the quali-
tative indices of a dynamic link during a step reaction. The unit contains a n
of identical flip-flops, shaping circuits, switches, delay circuits and counters-
rise time of the transient at the output of the link is compared with the required
value by connecting two structurally identical parallel channels at the link output.
Each of these channels contains a series-connected asymmetric flip-flop with a switch
connected to a delay circuit based on a driven multivibrator and a clamping circuit.
2. A modificaticr, of this device in which simultaneous evaluation of maximum overcon-
trol, oscillation index, control time and control error is simplified by connecting
four structurally identical channels to the link output with an asymmetric.flip-flop

ABSTRACT: 7he seagoing freight processes which must be controlled are complicated
probability processes. A model of the control system is presented in the form of
tvo interacting subsystems, one for planning and regulation of operationsj and the
other for control., accounting, and analysis. Planning solves the problem of estab-
lishing the freight volume and the distribution of freight flow either between dif-
ferent harbors., or within the confines of a single harbor, and other problems whose
solution yields the optimum transportation plany the optimum fleet operation., and
optimum loading at the ports. As a result of -various disturbing factors, the realiza
tion of the optimal plan calls for solving the problem of optimal control of fleet

Among 314 cases treated in We course of 5 vr. . 31 recurrences (9.87fo) wert.- ob-
served. men and women accounting for 64.5~. and 35.55, respectively. Most sub-
p-cts affected (57.8417.) were between the ages of 20 and 30 yr. Pregnancy was
found to favour recurrence in 22.58,19 of the cases. The majority of the patients
came from rural districts. Recurrences also predominated aniong the patients who
had left hospital in the course of the first C, months of treMment (incidence of re-
currences: 68.381,.). The incidence was 3.22T. among those in whom treatment
was carried out for from 6 to 12 months. The role played by nieningeal blocking was
-small (9.685 of the cases); the role of intraspinal treatment has riot been demon-
strated. The treatment for cases with recurrences consisted in tile association of
antibiotics with isoniazid; the spinal route was employed in 30.76% (patients ad-
iratted in a subcomatose condition). In 1!5 of the cases, PAS was administered as
well, either orally or in perfusions. The duration of treatment varied according to
the severity of the case. %mounting to 3 to 6 tnonths in .13.62T. of the cases, more
than 6 months in 46.1 IT*, and more than 12 months in 11.53%. Results obtained:
much improved, 12.90%; kmproved. 64.20'% unchanged, 22.90%. The mortality was

white precipitate was filtered, washed with water,

was corn for (green. f:)dder. It was fjund that the de-
composition of ureaform was ne2;UEible, the action of
nitroGen low, and the harvest was not Lcreased. The
quality of the green fodder was raised. An increased
harvest was observed ju test fiUds where ureafirn was
applied in codL)i.,mti:),i with arnaonium fertilizer. --
