Another finding is that excessive grinding of the enriching and defatted coals, increasing the proportion of 0 to 0-3 and 0 to 0.5 millimeter particles,.leads to impaired agglomeration and loss of enriching properties. Tekhnicheskaya. kibernettka, no. 5, 1965, 129-136 TOPIC TAGS: automatic control system, automat ic control theory, time optimal control, mathematic space, mathematic analysis ABSTRACT: It was shown elsewhere that if a system of linear differential equations with con- stant coefficients has an eigenvalue with negative real members, when the "community of state" condition is satisfied the origin can be reached from every point in phase space by meazu of modulus-limited control. If the equation system has an eigenvalue with positive real mem- bers, then it is not possible to reach the origin from every point in phase space by these means. The present author solves the problem of the construction of multiple initial states (controllability region) from which the origin can be reached. In practice, self-unstable sys- tems are stabilized by a corresponding selection of negative feedback coefficients; however, if the negative feedback signal amplitude Is limited, the points in phase space from w1rich it Is not possible to reach the origin in an open system are the same for a closed system. Two examples are given. Relationships are obtained which define the controllability reglon in L 2-3795-66- ACC NR: AP6005766 phase space. These relationships make It possible to clarify the structure of the controllabil- ity region, to determine its dimensionality, and to construct this region for specific systems. In constructing the controllability region, the greatest technical difficulties are encountered in the computation of the integral ,N.(-I)ft di Ph + + Yj yjlwy~ Tq.-'4e-4.* sin env Therefore, in constructing the region it may be nece ssary to use digital computers. Universitet. Vestnik. Seriya I. Matematika, mekhanika, no. 5, 1966, 75-84 TOPIC TAGS: automatic control, linear control system, controllability domain ABSTRACT: An analysis is made of the problem of constructing in the phqpe space X the domain Q of initial states Vo (vectors) from which a control systeml~escribed by a system of linear differential equations with constant coefficients can be taken to the origin of coordinates by means of a permissible control u(T) constrained by the inequality T u (T) I dr < C. Card 1/2 uDc: 62-50 ACC NR:--AP603-2173 where C is a constant and T is a time value suell that U(T) E 0 at T > T. A method for constructing such a set Q of Vectors Vo is presented, A set of inequalities and equations defining the set Q are derived on the basis of which the structure of is analyzed. It is established that Q is a cylindrical domain having a boundary one part of which belongs to the set Q and the other part does not. The obtained results make it possible to construct the set Q in every actual case. Two particular cases of the general problem are analyzed for which controllability domains are established. Two control systems described by a system of second-order and third- order equations, respectively, with numerical coefficients are analyzed as an illustration of the theory. They have a specific frequency, and are not caused by broad band activation or, inhibition of the JW# ' CjPR-s7 SUB CODE: 060 05 / SUBM DATE: none
