ABSTRACT: This article describes a metbod used to check whether
various aerial maneuvers are executed properly by a pilot
in a singleseater fighter. For this purpose the AKS-3
gun camera (S-13 gun camera can also be used) is used
for recordirg the instrumdnt readings in the pilot's
cockpit-. The photos are taken at intervals of 1 to 3
seconds, depending on the kind of exercise! the Dilot

P The present work xfas concerned with the effects of
stirrizzig on the polyncrization reactions ot acrylonitrile in aqueous
solutions (7,~), owing to the i-acrcasing importance of such polymers
in the production of artificial fibers.* The reactions were carried
out under argon in a stainIcs'-, stetl autoclave vith stirring
(2800 rpm, Re bAug 4000 or 46000),' at 15 - 456C, under isothermal
6ouditions. Gimilar exi)criments wdre carried out under static con-
ditious,, in air and in argon. Iq'inO'4 and oxalic acid were used as
initiator3. In stirred solutions after 15 min reactions, the
yieldn increased from - 20,~ at 1560 to - 6074 at 300 and fell to

were ^/ 49, 70 and 50,,s rvn.,cctively, te-ading to be always slightly
lower in the more intensively otirred solutions. Yields of st.atic-
ally carried out reactio-as uader argon werc on the average 'V'101116
higher than the above, and ti-ere higher still when the polymerization
took place (still without stirring) in air. In small amounts, ox-y-
gen improves the yields, but reverse:; i'ts action and even stops the
reaction completely when i-ntroduced-in large amounts, e.g. by stir-
ring in systems open to the atmosphere. There are 3 figures and 1
table.

ABSTRACT: This is brief information on the work done by the
Penzenskaya gosudarstvennaya kontrollnaya labora-
toriya po izmeritellnoy tekhnike (the Penza State
Inspection Laboratory for Measurements) in the second
half of 1958. The Laboratory checked the adherance
to standards at the Penzenskiy chasovoy zavod (Penza
Watch Factory) where, in the hardening shop, the nut-
dated END-07 devices will be exchanged for the EPV-01
potentiometer with rotating cylindric dial to deter-
mine the temperature in any point of the heating
unit. In the experimental and control department,
the P-12 device will be usedfor control of the me-

at the Serdobskiy (SerdobW, Watch Fac-
tory; at the Penzenskaya shveynaya fabrika imeni
Klary Tsetkin (Penza Clothing Factory imeni Klara
Tsetkin); the Penzenskiy khlebokombinat (Penza
Bread Factory) and a number of kolkhozes and sovk-
hozes. The Laboratory commissions experienced
engineers to inspect the adherance to standards,
and practices inspections in teams including wor-
kers of the factory or the organization under in-
spection. Several modern measurement instruments
introduced at the factcries after the ins-ection,
and different scales installed at the insDected
kolkhozes are mentioned.

that (Et) 3 SiCl and (Et) 3 SnC1 could be obtained in high yields by
the action of iao-C 3 H701 n (Et) 4Si and (:Zt) 4Sn in presence of
AM 3* This reaction has been used in the present work to synthe-
size (Et) 5Si 2Br and compounds (Et) 3 MX, where M = Si, Ge, Sn and
X = 01, Br, in 60-90% yields. These were prepared by the dropwise
addition of equimolar quantities Of iBO-C 3H 7X to (Et)4 M containing

TEXT: Heating of an asymmetric organometallic compound of type R3R'Pb with
catal tic amounts of aluminum chloride, causes the redistribution of the radi-
cals ~Ref. 1). A dynamic equilibrium, and a mixture of all poissible combinations
of tetraalkyl derivatives of the concerned metal develop. The authors intended
to investigate such cases of the above reaction in which the equilibrium is
disturbed, thus causing a clear deviation of the interrelations between the
reaction products from those occurring in general. The authoria found out that
hexa()thyl dimetals are asymmetrict as for instance (C 2H 5)3 SnRj R being (C 2H 5)3 Sn.
Assuming that the two radicals readily take part in their redistribution, the
