Abstract: ductivity with temperature in an interval

ation of the conductivity logarithm (l ',-! / - --
under the action of the ethyl alcolhol v4or' mix-
tures and the H20 of the permanant composition,
also, do not depend an the temperature in the
interval of 200 - 3000C. According to the auth-
ors, the above facts are in full agreement with
the viewpoint that, the quantity of current car-
riers in the catalyzer affect, before the start
of reaction, the absorption equilibria estab-
lished on its surface, as well as the reaction
yield. The reduction of CdO and a subsequent
evaporation of the metallic Cd take place at

Abstract: vin equation was used to calculate the

tribution of the pores. I and II specimens shcw
marked variation in their structure-adsorption
characteristics: I (a mixture of bayerite and
hydrargillite) is more extensively hydrated
than II (a mixture of bemite and hydrargillite);
in the initial hours I adsorbs water more rapid-
ly than II but the total absorption of H20 is
less in the case of I than in that of 11 (35-
40% and 55-60%, respectively). I has a greater
S (220-290 M2/gm) and a smaller predominant pore
radius (- 25A) than 11 (180.230 m2/gm and 25-55A).
In the case of I the concentration of the init-
ial solution and the temperature have little ef-
