The presence in the coastal zone of Tertiary and Mesozoic deposits with signs of petroleum and gas has bven established by drilling. The following characteristics were considered: the difference between the wavelengths of the absorption peaks of the cOmDlOx XVSR and reagent X ; (b) the relative and (c) the absolute difference between t-he molar extinction ooeffi_ cients of the complwc kSaR and reagent ERR at XMax of the complex. The absorption spectra of the molecular and ionic forms of the reagents and their complexes with ytterbium were recorded; the composition of the complexes was determined. -The best reagents for the spectrophotometric determination of yttriun, group rare earths were found to be arsenazo (III)s xylenol orange, stilbazo, methyl thymol bluey and pyrooat- Card 1/2 UDCs 1.535.243 MOCNALIVIV, Tu.G.; MXMIYIT, S.D.; SULITMhWV, G.N.; ALIM, S.M. -AKMMLI, T.
