Abstracti After injection of purified sheep prolactin preparation without
adjuvant anti-prolactin (Pr) antibodies appeared in the blood oil oxpari:montal
rats, which showed a precipitation reaction with Fir on an agar gel J~Jato, and
which agglutinated sheep erythrocytes sensitized to -PrIn a hi,.-h titore
The antibodies may be detected in the gamma globulin of the inmune ssor= by

Abstract: The fat content in milk was determined para-
llelly by the methods of Herber, Inikhov and
D'yakov. The acidobutyrometric method of
Herber was found to be the most rapid and the
most accurate; the determination by the method
of Inikhov are the simplest, safe and cheap, but
they take the most time.

Abstract; [Authors' English summary modified] Authors re-
port their findings on administration of the acetylcholine
provocation test to patients with bronchial asthma, broncho-
spasm, and chronic bronchitis. Strength of the test was
evaluated by the so-called bronchial spasm index, which is
the total percentage change in the lung vital capacity, force
expiration volume, and minuto volume before and after test.
Bronchospasm should be suspected with an index of 23~60, and
definitely diagnosed above 70, with an index of 70-119 in-
dicating the mild, 120-180 moderate, and above 180 severe
form. 7ho 23 refs comprise 3 Polish, and about 3 in Germam,
tie others being Western.
