MEMORANDUM FOR: All OL Divisions and Staffs, Ames Center Building
SUBJECT : Ames Center Building Fine Arts Committee
1. A Fine Arts Committee has been established to assist and
coordinate in the beautification of the Ames Center Building. The
Committee consists of six members, including a representative from
each office occupying space in the Ames Center Building, and is
chaired by the representative from the office of Logistics.
2. With the recent painting of the walls and the doors, it
is an opportune time to examine other means'of upgrading the
appearance of the building. The Committee is working on obtaining
attractive wall hangings and other artifacts to make the hallways
and offices more appealing.
3. Please advise all employees under your cognizance that,
prior to taking any action to improve the appearance of their
office, the Fine Arts Committee representative should be consulted.
In addition, the Committee is seeking employee suggestions for
improving our working environment.

The model of the Headquarters Building was loaned to Fine Arts
Commission, to be used in an exhibit at the Headquarters Building. This model
is to be returned when the exhibit is over.
