A student demonstra- tion in Nicosia today in supptrt of Makarios went off without inciaent. Student supporters of Makarios and Grivas clashed in the' south coast port of Limassol today in the first instance of violence. The two groups, each several hundred strong, shouted slogans at each other across the town square and scuffled. Police broke up the crowd.
