Subject: I.A.B. 1 -- Coordination of Intelligence
Product ion.
1. Mr. Willard Webb, Library of Congress
Lexicographer, on 16 June 1947 commented on the definitions
of "basic intelligence", "current intelligence", and "staff
intelligence" as set forth in I.A.B. 1, a copy of which
comments were furnished to the Joint Intelligence Staff
by the Central Intelligence Group. It is requested that
these comments be brought up for discussion at the next
moeting of the Intelligence Advisory Board with the view
to modifying I.A.B. 1 if considered appropriate prior to
submission to the National Intelligence Authority.
